KiDi, a signed artiste with Lynx Entertainment, has said that he had neither hatred nor envy for his label mate, Kuami Eugene, when he earned a name for himself in the music industry, despite the fact that he was signed by Richie before the latter.
According to the reigning 3Music Artiste of the Year, he was cool about it before and has lived by the philosophy that when the moment is right, he will make ripples in the industry as well.
KiDi went on to say that he has always viewed the music industry as a marathon, not a race, and that he was fine with the way things turned out.
He concluded by giving a piece of advice to up-and-coming acts. He said that they should understand that some people can become household names in the industry in a matter of months, while others may take years.
He added that they should not be too hard on themselves if they are not getting the attention they require right away.
