Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah, better known by his stage name Akwaboah, has revealed that he required six months to recover from a broken heart.
The singer admitted that, like any other human being, he had been a “victim” of love’s dark side. His wounded heart, he claims, was so agonizing that he couldn’t sleep properly for two weeks.
“You tell yourself you won’t think about it,” he explained, “but before you know it, it has inundated your mind and thoughts, and you can’t sleep the whole night.”
On Angel FM’s Anopa Bofo Morning Show, he discussed love and Valentine’s Day, saying that when you love someone completely with all your heart and things go wrong, it might take a long time to mend and be whole again. He admitted that it took him roughly five to six months to recover from a broken heart.
The highlife singer, on the other hand, claims to have experienced both the sweet and bitter aspects of love. He told host Kofi Adoma Nwanwani, “Love has been kind to me, but it has also been unfair to me.”
Love, according to Akwaboah, is “one soul dwelling in two bodies,” resulting in a climate of mutual understanding. When there is love, each person enjoys what the other likes, but even if they disagree, there is tolerance and mutual understanding, according to the ‘Love Unfair’ singer.
