Black Sherif cheers fans at FA Cup final as Hearts defeat Ashantigold to win trophy

At the FA Cup final, fast-rising musician Black Sherif entertain the crowd who came to witness the game.

Before the mouth-watering clash, the first and second sermon hitmakers performed.

This season, Hearts of Oak won the double by defeating Ashantigold on penalties.

On Sunday, before the MTN FA Cup match between Hearts and Ashantigold, fast-rising Ghanaian rapper and underground music artist Black Sherif wowed fans at the Accra Sports Stadium.

As the FA Cup final offered high-quality entertainment, the first and second sermon hitmaker got supporters on their feet, singing to his hit songs.

The musician of the moment can be seen in high spirits entertaining the thousands of fans who came to the stadium, in photos posted on Twitter by 3Sports and taken by 442GH.

Black Sherif, who was scheduled to perform before the game on Sunday, did not disappoint, getting the crowd in the spirit for the season’s last game.

The entire stadium erupted in cheers as he began the second sermon, with fans dancing and singing along to the iconic phrase “Kwaku Frimpong de asem beba.” 

Following his performance, the highly awaited match between Ashantigold and Hearts of Oak began.

After an 8-7 penalty shootout victory over Ashantigold, Hearts of Oak emerged victorious in the game.

Both teams produced chances in a heated match, but were unable to score, and the game had to be stopped after 120 minutes.

Richard Attah, the Rainbow club’s goalkeeper, was the hero of the day after scoring the game-winning goal.

It was their second championship of the season, after winning the Ghana Premier League.
