The SRC of University of Cape Coast for the past weeks thrown challenges to students titled ‘Africa’s Biggest Idea Challenge’. This challenges were applicable for student who have business ideas in establishing something. It was also made for student pursuing to make it at the global market yet halt due to financial constraints.
Many students of the University picked forms to contest for such business ideas challenge. Eleven(11) people out of the total applicants have qualified to the final. The cash price for the first person to win this Idea Challenge is Ghc10,000.00.
However, this Africa’s Business Idea Challenge seems to drawn in attention of notable men across the country. The person to chair this Africa’s Biggest Idea Challenge is the Vice Chancellor of UCC, Prof. Johnson Nyarko Boanpong.
Other dignitaries are: The deputy Minister of Finance, Hon. Dr John Kumah, Mr. Dennis Appiah Larbi, founder of the idea challenge and Mr Philip Brobbey.
The key note speaker of the program is Hon. Dr. John Kumah. He is Ghana’s deputy finance minister and member of parliament for Ejisu. The CEO of Philbro Groups, Philip Brobbey, would also be the guest speaker / judge for the program.
