Students at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) have finally reacted to the death of some of their colleagues, who suffered a fatal accident in Asuboi, a small town in the Eastern Region of Ghana, on Sunday.
On Sunday, nine of the UEW students died in a tragic accident which happened at Asuboi, a small town in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The accident happened in March 13, 2022 at dawn around 2am. This disaster, which happened on Sunday, claimed the lives of approximately 12 students.
Yesterday, a group of students at University of Education, Winneba (UEW) light candles and dressed in black to pay tribute to their colleagues who died in the heartbreaking accident in Asuboi on Sunday.
Many Ghanaians have expressed their heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased student, as well as wishing the injured students a speedy recovery. They express their deepest condolences to the families of the deceased, the school administration, the Student Representative Council, and the whole student body.
