Kwaku Victor, a level 400 B.Ed. Social Science undergraduate student happens to be our spotlight icon for today. He tips as one of the young men likely to hold the forth regarding English commentatory in the coming years. Victor often organises the maiden campus tournament commentary.
The University’s student is delighted to watch behind the microphone with his soothing and sexy voice. Though his career is still in its early stages, he was assigned as a lead commentator for several matches. This include the 2020/21 Women’s Premier League – Southern zone and some selected Women FA Cup matches. The matches were streamed live either on the Women’s Football page or the Ghana Football Association Facebook page.
The young talented and creative star is an affiliate of the Kwame Nkrumah Hall in the University of Cape Coast.
Rumors suggest that the promising sport journalist has existed the ‘University of Choice’. He is on his way to one famous English-Speaking radio station in Kumasi with a TV station surfacing.
The talented young Sport journalist has also written over sixty plus sports articles with some prestigious online leading websites Ghana. 442gh.com, twincitionline.com and others are some of the websites he wrote for, including acting as lead content editor.
“It’s just started boom, l was even fascinated by my zeal. Because honestly it wasn’t part of university diary. But let me use this opportunity to thank my level 100 colleagues on B- block back then at KNH. They played a vital role in my journey. l think it’s a whole story for another time” said Victor, speaking to FillaHQ.com
The product of the Campus Broadcasting Service training (ATL FM.) continues to serve and work with some top sports journalist in Ghana. He provides match and player statistics ranging from the Ghana Premier League matches to the international tournaments involving Ghana.
He tells us, it was difficult but fun taking internships in some major media organizations. This includes Takoradi-based Radio Maxx and Kyzz FM and also Salaga’s Magyk FM.

The list is huge. I thank them for their immense constructive criticism”, Mr. Victor said.
The student, trainee of Ghana and CAF’s leading TV Commentator Benjamin Willie Graham is expected to make the University proud. This could be achieved in some few years to come.
